When designing + producing the packaging for our Housetrays, we wanted to be as environmentally responsible + as thoughtful toward the planet as we could. We put serious intention behind making our ceramic ritual trays, because our history as stylists in the fashion industry gave us a keen understanding of waste in epic proportions.

Although we are modern in design, we are proud that ceramics are an ancient art form that have been a part of cultures since the beginning of humanity. Raw earth becomes clay, which in turn becomes vitrified porcelain, a solid form that holds warmth with ease as it can withstand the elements easily. These ceramic vessels allow us to easily share things with each other, whether they be rituals or conversations.

Our housetrays are so special to us, we needed to create a home for them that was worthy of their ceremonial significance. Lucky for us, we did not have to venture far, as we live in the golden state of California, a place where fellow artists + creators are working on projects with a similar sensibility to ours. Our neighbors at Weston Graphics led us to ECO | 100% recyclable boxes that are as chic as they are environmentally responsible. They partnered with us to ensure we printed on paper that was Forest Stewardship Council Certified. It is an honor to say we have our very own FSC number, and we are very proud: #C019575
